This I a second copy of the Psalms revised by G. Kyrias but edited by Athanasios Sinas alone without consulting Alexander Thomson. Thomson did not approve of this, and on 3rd January, 1895 wrote: ‘Observation: From Psalm 3rd and onwards Mr. Sinas has spelt the name of David with [unable to transcribe symbol; please refer to p. 5 of the printed catalogue, "Historical catalogue of the manuscripts of Bible House Library", BFBS, 1982] and not 'D', at the beginning. He did not consult me as to this, and I don’t approve of it. I think it better that the orthography should be preserved unchanged, even with an exceptional pronunciation, than that the universal orthography be changed.’
Inserted between the leaves of this MS is an extract of a letter dated Istanbul, April 21st 1938, from F. Lyman MacCullam, ABS Secretary in Istanbul 1925-1955 listing among other items, the two volumes of Psalms in Albanian: Tosk, see also BFBS MS 11.
