There are around 40 letters relating to India, from Sir Robert Abercromby, Lord Hobart, Sir George Barlow and Neil Edmonstone among others. The early history of the Society is covered in the letters of Bishop Fisher of Salisbury (1812-13), and the progress of the Bible Societies in Londonderry, Denmark and Switzerland is reported by Bishop Knox, Bishop Múnter and the Rev.
