Scope and Contents
Smithson has pencilled '29/10' next to the following notes: '45. House. Some coffee also pine apples - not the season when there. It is customary from time to time for one village to visit another especially if there is some object such as a wedding or a cricket match - this visit called a melanga meaning visit - '.
