Kakahi Fall, Tawhata, Wanganui River, King Country, 1884 - 1885
Scope and Contents
141 x 196 mm. A view from across the river towards the falls, a delicate fan-shaped cascade that drops among trees into the river. Presumably an area abundant in fresh water mussels, this being the translation of the Maori word Kakai.
