Scope and Contents
110 x 70 mm. A series of prints documenting the 1939 Royal Visit to Victoria, which formed part of a wider tour encompassing all Canadian provinces and the Dominion of Newfoundland. It was the first visit by a reigning British monarch to the country. These photographs feature ceremonies held at the docks, Parliament and Beacon Hill.
