Scope and Contents
271 x 210 mm. Print composed of a montage of photographs stuck to a board and rephotographed. The majority of the prints show Chinese types and occupations, with a few landscapes. The print at the bottom, just to the right of centre showing a female orchestra, is reproduced in Clark Worswick, ‘Imperial China: photographs 1850-1912’ (1978), p. 106.
