Kenyahs boring a blowpipe, 1900
Scope and Contents
103 x 147 mm. Showing two Kenyah men boring a blowpipe. This operation is performed from the top of a wooden scaffolding platform, with the blowpipe resting vertically on the ground beneath. As seen in the print, one man is in the act of banging a length of iron through the piece of Jagang wood, while his companion pours water into the hole so that chips of dislodged wood can float free.
