Scope and Contents

292 x 214 mm. View looking along the open courtyard at Nimtollah Ghat in north Calcutta. Various figures stand in the courtyard, while in the centre are two pyres where bodies are being burned. Four figures are also posed with a wrapped corpse laid on a crude stretcher. For another view, see Y3022BB/47. No. 2723E.
