Scope and Contents
489 x 157 mm (two prints joined). Showing bridge construction work in the dry river bed. The bridge (exact location unidentified) is here seen at an early stage of its construction. Some of the masonry piers have been completed, but as yet none of the spans has been laid. Gangs of labourers are posed among the piles of cut stone in the foreground.
