Topps Bubble Gum Trading Cards, 1990
Scope and Contents
A file holding 63mm colour transparencies with images produced for trading cards that accompanied Topps' bubble gum (SI/9, 15, 63, 65, 79, 86, 97, 102, 684, 686, 717, 746, 751, 764, 831, 1020, 1035, 1037, and 1060). There are 19 plastic sleeves, each holding a dedicated set of transparencies for a particular plasticine model or puppet illustration, produced by Spitting Image Productions Limited, which feature one or more celebrities, politicians or members of the British royal family.
The set of transparencies for an illustration featuring darts player, Eric Bristow, is also accompanied by a black and white photograph with that image.
The contents of this file does not represent all the illustrations that were used for the trading cards.
