British General Election Mug Set, 1983
Scope and Contents
A set of two mugs modelled by Luck & Flaw, produced as memorabilia for the 1983 British General Election. Each mug has been modelled to resemble the head and face of a particular politician: one is of British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and the other of Labour Party leader Michael Foot. They both have a white, glossy finish, and 'Luck & Flaw [copyright symbol] 1983' is stamped on the underside of each of their bases.
These items were probably made by either Gill Wing Ceramics or English Ironstone Tableware Limited.
