296 x 243 mm. View showing the facade of the 'Court of 1000 pillars' near the east entrance of the Srirangam temple. The 18 ft granite blocks from which the columns are made are elaborately carved in the form of rearing horses with figures beneath. Two Indians are posed in the foreground as an indication of scale. Bourne no. 2064.
