View taken from Jakko (possibly from 'Bonnie Moon' boarding house) looking NW towards the ridge and bazaar, with Christ Church at the right, the bazaar on the hillside to the left and the Government Offices among the trees at the summit of the ridge. Compare with the later view in Pat Barr and Ray Desmond, 'Simla, a hill station in British India' (1978) p. 56. Duplicate at Y3022B/145. Bourne no. 1793.
