Scope and Contents

320 x 195 mm. View from the right bank of the Ganges looking NW across the river towards the city. The most prominent building is the Mosque of Aurangzeb known as the Minarets, which can be seen at the right. To the left of centre is the Ghusla Ghat, with the Manikarnika Ghat at the extreme left. A number of Indians are posed with cattle in the foreground. Bourne no. 1165.
