Scope and Contents

294 x 237 mm. View of the Great Gateway, the main entrance to the Taj Mahal and dated 1648. The structure is of red sandstone, inlaid with ornaments and inscriptions from the Koran and surmounted by 26 white marble cupolas. Bourne no. 1074.
