Ruins of the Fort of Toghlukabad, 1860 - 1869
Scope and Contents
197 x 244 mm. View looking along the massive ramparts of the fort, with the plain at the right. This view looks along the S wall of the fortress, with Adilabad in the distance to the E. The ruined causeway leading off in the right foreground is that leading to Tughlak Shah's tomb. The fortress was built by the Tughlak sultan in 1321. Bourne no. 1382.
