The Kutub Minar and surrounding ruins, 1860 - 1869
Scope and Contents
294 x 242 mm. Showing the Kutub Minar with the ruins of the mosque to the right. The top of the famous iron pillar (see Y3022L/11) can be seen between the two archways in the courtyard. The view looks W from the Court of Ala-uddin. To the left of the Katub is the Alai Darwazah, a red sandstone domed building built in 1310 AD and forming the S entrance to the mosque enclosure.
