Scope and Contents

297 x 238 mm. View from the eastern side of the Huseinabad Imambara (see Y3022L/49-52) looking across the tank towards the miniature copy of the Taj Mahal on the west side. In the background can be seen the domes and minarets of the Jamma Musjid or Cathedral Mosque. The building was commenced by Muhammad Ali Shah (Nawab of Oudh 1837-42) and completed by Begun Malka Jahan, a surviving member of the royal family. Duplicate at Y3022B/119. Bourne no. 1051.
