Scope and Contents
318 x 195 mm. View looking across the valley towards the tall white houses of the village of Kibber, with bare rocky hills rising behind, and a broad band of shadow running across the foreground of the picture. Kibber was reached just after leaving Kioto and was of special interest to Dr Playfair on account of the wealth of fossils to be found in the area. Bourne no. 1459.
