Scope and Contents

284x214mm. View looking along Clive Street towards Dalhousie Square, with the Holwell Monument and the W. corner of the Bengal Secretariat visible in the distance. The National Bank of India can be seen on the right, and on the left hand side of the street are Martin & Co., the South British Insurance Company, the old Exchange Buildings, the Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, and James Finlay & Co. Photographer unknown, probably Johnston and Hoffman.
