Scope and Contents
269x179mm. View looking N. along Clive Street, with the Fairlie Place junction in the left foreground. At the extreme right, at the junction with China Bazaar, a small part of the old Exchange Buildings can be seen (illustrated in Massey p.76). Horse drawn trams, introduced abortively in Calcutta in 1873 and on a permanent basis from 1880, can be seen in the roadway, (Massey p.85).
