Scope and Contents
A file holding letters sent to Anne Stevenson in connection to her work on the Sylvia Plath biography, Bitter Fame. Correspondents include Olwyn Hughes, Ted Hughes, Richard Murphy, Mark Le Fanu, Jillian Becker, Peter Davison and other representatives from the publisher, Houghton Mifflin; and Helga Huws. The following are also present in the file: a pile of notes by Olwyn Hughes and Stevenson, photocopies of letters sent by Stevenson to various individuals; and photocopies of newspaper cuttings.
