'Bitter Fame' Correspondence File 1, 1985 - 1986
Scope and Contents
A file holding letters sent to Anne Stevenson in connection to her work on the Sylvia Plath biography, Bitter Fame. Correspondents include representatives from Penguin Books, Olwyn Hughes and Ted Hughes. The following are also present in the file: a copy of Stevenson's contract with Penguin, photocopies of letters sent by Stevenson to Sylvia Kantaris and Dido Merwin, and photocopies of correspondence between Merwin and the biographer, Linda Wagner-Martin, which originally date between July 1985 and October 1986.
