194 x 246 mm. A photograph of a painting of Wakefield seated in an armchair with three dogs at his feet. The annotation on the reverse states 'From a portrait painted for the New Zealand Company in 1844, and now in the Canterbury Museum, Christchurch, New Zealand'. Photograph by Green and Hahn.
