An album of photographs, each 250 x 205 mm, bound in a brown cover inscribed (in full) on the front: '7th Imperial Press Conference Canada June 8-28, 1950. Presented to Sir Harry E. Brittain, K.B.E. as a memento of his valued participation in the Conference by Roy H. Thomson'. The photographs are not captioned, and are not in sequence. Identifications of certain plates have been inserted in the album. Many of the photographs show social events organised in connection with the Conference, but it has generally not been possible to differentiate one garden party or boat trip from another. The list follows the order of the album, but photographs of the same event, or falling under the same category, have been grouped under the earliest number.

At this Conference Sir Harry proposed that the name should be altered to 'Commonwealth Press Conference' in future.
