Preparing cinnamon quills, 1880 - 1920
Scope and Contents
278 x 211 mm. Showing four Singhalese preparing quills of cinnamon. After the bark has been removed from the branch it dries and curls. The procedure seen here is that of packing the smaller lengths inside the larger to form canes about three feet long.
