Scope and Contents
278 x 216 mm. View looking along the line towards where a group of labourers and Europeans are gathered round a breach in the line, probably caused by heavy rainfall. The viaduct referred to is the Allagalla Viaduct, 59.5 miles out from Colombo at a height of 1,120 feet above sea level (see Y303A/18). Photographer unknown, probably W.L.H. Skeen & Co.
