Carving Up Britain Illustration Scans, 2010

 File
Reference Code: GBR/0012/MS Add.10275/7/3/3

Scope and Contents

A CD-R that holds two tif. files with scans of the Margaret Thatcher 'Carving Up Britain' illustration, which was originally produced for an abandoned Spitting Image Productions Limited publication, Thatcha! Ten Years of the Dragon. It was later used in other publications, and featured in various exhibitions connected to Spitting Image and Roger Law. The CD-R is accompanied by two pieces of paper: one holding an image of the Thatcha! Ten Years of the Dragon front cover, which bears the illustration; and the other with information on what is held on the disc.

As the contents are dated January 2010, it is possible that these images are connected to the Rude Britannia exhibition, which was held at Tate Britain, in the summer of that year.
