Ways With Words Literature Festival File, 2005
Scope and Contents
A file containing material relating to Roger Law's attendance at the 2005 Ways With Words Literature Festival, held at Dartington Hall, between 8 and 18 July. It appears that Law was asked to cover a 2pm slot on 17 July, originally intended for author and broadcaster, John Sergeant, who was due to talk about his book on Margaret Thatcher, Maggie: Her Fatal Legacy. In a postcard from one of the event's organisers, Kay Dunbar, Law is thanked for agreeing to attend; Dunbar states: 'it digs me out of a hole.'
Material present includes: a couple of postcards addressed to Law [one currently restricted until 2041], a brochure, and event documentation for participants.
