Potshots Introductory Notes, c 1999-c early 2000s
Scope and Contents
A three-page document that holds a word-processed introductory script relating to the 1999 short-film, Potshots, which was directed by Roger Law, starred the British comedian, Johnny Vegas, and featured a voice-over by David Attenborough. This film depicts the destruction of £45,000-worth of ceramics, some produced by Law and others donated by artists. As part of the introduction to this film, it appears a number of photographic slides were shown that featured images of some of the pottery destroyed. This script lists the pottery displayed in those slides.
It is unknown whether this script was used as part of a dedicated event to present the short-film to the public or as part of a larger lecture, delivered by Law, on ceramics.
