Prize decree on 'Los Dos Amigos', 1816-11-21
Scope and Contents
The Exemplification of Decree of the Court of Appeals for Prizes in the case of the ship 'Los Dos Amigos', 25½'' x 22½'', 'extracted by Iltid Nicholl Esq His Majesty's Procurator General'. The decree is engrossed with a conventional sketch of King George III. The seal has been removed.

Biographical / Historical
The ship 'Los Dos Amigos', laden with cotton, was taken as lawful prize by H.M.S. 'Carrow' on 29 March 1815. A counter-claim to the ownership of the cargo was instituted in the courts at Bermuda.
