Cartoon Art Trust Awards, 1998
Scope and Contents
A file containing a letter, ephemera and a speech transcript for the 1998 Cartoon Trust Awards, which was held at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, London, on 25 November 1998. At this event, Roger Law and Peter Fluck were presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award. As Law was living in Australia at that time, his wife, Deirdre Amsden, read out a prepared written speech in his absence.
The letter informs Law and Fluck that they are the recipients of the award and invites them to attend the event. In terms of ephemera, there are two tickets, a brochure, and a document containing a timetable for the event's proceedings.
