T-Shirts, c early 1990s
Scope and Contents
A box containing three personal t-shirts worn by Roger Law, which have text emblazoned on their front. There is a blue cotton t-shirt that has the following text upon it: 'Never give an engineer £700,000 only Hennequin can do this.' This text is in all capital letters. Law possibly had this t-shirt made at the beginning of the 1990s, following the collapse of Spitting Image Engineering, which was a subsidiary of Spitting Image Productions Limited, and nearly bankrupted the latter.
The other two cotton t-shirts, one being in black and the other in blue, have the same following text upon them: 'I don't give a fuck who killed Laura Palmer.' This text is in all capital letters, and it makes reference to the popular television show, Twin Peaks, which ran between 1989 and 1991 [first shown in the United Kingdom in 1990].
