Promotional posters and cards for the claymation short-film, The Big Story, which was produced by the Spitting Image Productions Limited subsidiary, Screwball Films Limited, and was directed by two staff members from the Spitting Image Workshop, Tim Watts and David Stoten. The short-film was an homage to Kirk Douglas films, and features three claymation models of the actor at different stages of his career in a newsroom setting, all voiced by Frank Gorshin [the actor who played The Ridder in the 1960s Batman television series]. The production was nominated in 1995 for a BAFTA Award and an Academy Award, winning the former.
