Aim International: Africa Inland Mission International Quarterly, 1990
Scope and Contents
The British Home Council of AIM did not originally maintain its own magazine, instead circulating American editions of 'Hearing and Doing' with supplements of relevance to a British audience. In 1917 a British edition of 'Hearing and Doing' was launched with its name changing to 'Inland Africa' in 1920 and 'AIM International' in 1984. The young people's edition of 'Inland Africa', titled 'Young People's Inland Africa/Young Africa' was incorporated into 'Inland Africa' in 1950.
Issues contain lists of officers of AIM home councils, news, prayer guides, articles and editorials.
Two sequences are present here, the first comprising a mixture of individual copies and annual compilations dating from 1912 to 1966. the second comprising individual copies dating from 1920 to 2001. The overall sequence in largely complete with gaps noted in the description.
