Scope and Contents
Volume of printed 'Forms No. 261' with handwritten entries for photographic plates nos 10855-11553, made with the 13-inch Astrographic Equatorial. Numbered '13' on the spine.
Column headings are: no. of photo, date, observer, position of telescope, orient. screw and focus readings, R.A., Dec. North, Micrometer scale readings (R.A. and Dec.), clock times of exposures (begin, end, duration), barometer (external and internal therm.), plate and development, field of object, remarks, and signature. The volume opens with a list of observers and their initials.
Photographs registered include Eros, Praesepe, Juno, Nova Lacerte, Metis, the New Moon, Corona Borealis field, field of Comet 1950b, Pallas, Ceres, [probable] Nova Ophuichi, Object Wallenquist, Object Reinmuth, radio source in Cygnus, Comet Stein, Vesta, Pleiades, various comets of 1951-1953, Great Nebula in Orion, Comet Aren, radio source in Cassiopeia, Nemausa, H.A. fields, etc.
