Scope and Contents

Volume of printed 'Forms No. 261' with handwritten entries for photographic plates nos 9089-9736 made with the 13-inch Astrographic Equatorial. Numbered '10' on the spine.

Column headings are: no. of photo, date, observer, position of telescope, orient. screw and focus readings, R.A., Dec. North, Micrometer scale readings (R.A. and Dec.), clock times of exposures (begin, end, duration), barometer (external and internal therm.), plate and development, field of object, remarks, and signature. Photographs registered include Comet Comas Sola, the eclipse field, Praesepe, Nova Cygni, minor planet Baade, Wolf's Nova, and Comet Neujmin.

There is a note after plate 9262 that the instrument was re-erected in the Astrographic Dome, 13-31 December 1922, and another for 4th August 1923 concerning a visit from Mr Agnew of the Ilford Plate Company.
