Governor's message on the outbreak of war, 1939
Scope and Contents
Two copies of Bourdillon's message to the Nigerian people, which was broadcast on 3 September 1939. There is two-page printed copy in English and a three-page typescript version in Pidgin entitled 'Make every man savvy'. The latter message was read at Banso.
