Scope and Contents
A visifile containing original artwork and reference material relating to the Spitting Image Productions Limited/Screwball Films Limited stop-motion animation film, The Big Story, released in 1994. This short-film was created by the Spitting Image Workshop artists, David Stoten and Tim Watts. The file is comprised of the following: a bundle of line test drawings featuring the Kirk Douglas character used in the animation; reference photographs of actor Kirk Douglas at different stages of his life; and a proof for the poster used to advertise the film (SI/595).
