Biographical / Historical
Brigadier A. J. R. M. Leslie of the Royal Artillery (then a captain) was posted to Singapore in January 1922. Soon after he was appointed adjutant of the Malay States Volunteer Regiment, serving under its commandant, Colonel F.R.W. Graham.
