Material relating to the Alma Estate, which was located on the mainland of Province Wellesley, opposite Penang Island, and first established by Robert Wilson. The file consists of notes recording land grants in the district and two sale agreements dated 1868 and 1871. The 1868 document contains a report on the agricultural and financial condition of the estate. The file also contains a copy of a Straights Settlements government paper 'Correspondence upon the subject of the Indian Immigration Bill' (1876).
