Biographical / Historical
Hugh Bryson joined the Civil Service of the Federated Malay States in 1921 and was interned at Changi Camp after the fall of Malaya to the Japanese in 1942. Bryson retired in 1950 as British Adviser, Negeri Sembilan. From 1952 to 1967 he served as the Secretary of the British Association of Malaysia and Singapore.
