Material collected by V.E. Dawson during his work for the British Military Administration and the Malayan Civil Service.
1. District Office work in Pinang.
Copies of correspondence and reports relating to land policy, military government, law and order, tax collection, economic conditions, the fisheries, social events, and religion (circa 100 sheets).
2. Police Stores Methods
‘Report of the working party to review police stores methods’ (Kuala Lumpur, 1956), with three loose diagrams. The report is accompanied by a typescript copy of an article ‘An example of management in a public service’, and a letter regarding its publication.
