Biographical / Historical

General George Wynne (d. 27 June 1890), Colonel Commandant, Royal Engineers, married Anne (d. Corfu, 29 May 1864), daughter of Sir Daniel Toler Osborne, on 16 December 1834. Their children included Frank, Lucy, Harry and Edward Toler. Frank Wynne, C.E., married Dora (1847-1930), third daughter of General Edward Frome (1802-1890), Royal Engineer, a contemporary of General Wynne. Edward Toler Wynne, served as a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Engineers before his death on 8 March 1889.
