They are contained in a lavishly inlaid and tooled album lettered on the front cover 'H.I.M. The King-Emperor of India's Shooting in the Nepalese Terai December, 1911' with the arms of Nepal above. There are no captions, and the following have been compiled from published works on the visit to India. King George V arrived in Nepal on 18 December 1911 and most of his time was spent in hunting expeditions, for the first five days from a camp at Sukhibar and later from Kasra. He left Nepal on 28 December. Subjects include: tiger shoots, the camps at Sukhibar and at Kasra, the King and members of his entourage, the Maharaja and Nepalese artefacts and animals presented to the King.
