Aerial views, all in the Radfan : Wadi, 1964 - 1966
Scope and Contents
Arranged in three groups as follows: N Abyan; O Radfan, Mudeiras and P Seiyun and Hadhramaut. These three groups numbered by JEM do not include any scenes in Aden itself. They cover a journey into Abyan, with scenes in Zinjibar and Giar (Ja'ar); a visit to the Radfan, including a military post and Mukeiras; a visit to the Hadhramaut, with several views taken in Seiyn (Saiun). Most of these journeys were by air. For convenience, a slide showing the visit to two Ministers of the Federation of South Arabia to Britain in 1966 has been included at the end. The first four slides in N and all of P are Kodachromes printed in Britain. The remainder are Titania plastic frames made in Germany. Numbers and captions are by Marnham but processing numbers are given in brackets where they exist.
