Brittany Letters, 1959
Scope and Contents
A file containing two manuscript letters: one from Deirdre Amsden to her parents, and the other from Roger Law to his parents and brother. Both of these letters were sent while the couple were holidaying in Brittany with Richard Fletcher and his family. Amsden informs her parents that they are staying with the Fletchers for another week, before providing an account of their activities and a description of the house they are staying in. Law gives details on a sailing trip, a visit to an art exhibition in Quimper, and miscellaneous information about the holiday. Law also makes a passing comment about a number of charcoal drawings he has done while in Brittany.
