Letters to Jean Amsden, c 1959-c 1967
Scope and Contents
A file holding three manuscript letters written by Roger Law and addressed to his mother-in-law, Jean. Two of the letters pre-date Law's marriage to Deirdre Amsden, with one containing Law's thanks for the gift of a thesaurus and the other enquiring into Jean's health; the latter has drawings in pen (RL/Pre-/1125 and 1126). The other letter is from circa 1967 and its contents focus on the definition of what is and what is not 'camp,' with this subject appearing to have been the topic of a previous conversation between Law and his parents-in-law.
