Art School Drawings, c 1958-c 1960
Scope and Contents
A file containing drawings and a calligraphy item produced by Roger Law, while studying at the Cambridge School of Art. The following items are present: a piece of paper with a portrait in red pencil of a male, 'Marsden,' on one side and a drawing of a plant pot on the reverse side (RL/Pre-/869); a portrait of Law's father, George, in crayon (RL/Pre-/870); a self-portrait in pencil (RL/Pre-/871); a piece of paper with illustrations on both sides, known as 'Harvesting I' and 'Harvesting II,' which depict agricultural settings (RL/Pre-/872); a portrait of an unidentified man, drawn in crayon (RL/Pre-/873); and a calligraphy exercise in ink (RL/Pre-/874).
