Letters to Winnie Law, 1958-03-29 - 1958-12-23
Scope and Contents
A file containing two manuscript letters received by Roger Law's mother, Winnie, relating to Law and the Cambridge School of Art/Cambridgeshire Technical College and School of Art. The first letter is from the tutor to the intermediate course at the school, H. Warrell, dated 29 March 1958, which informs Winnie of her son's progress and describes Law as 'a satisfactory student generally of about average capacity.' The second letter is from David Joseph, dated 23 December 1958, who appears to have been tutoring Law for the latter's O-Levels. Joseph expresses his hopes that Law has passed, and he states that Law has been 'a most rewarding pupil' and is held in high regard at the school.
